إن الدور الرئيس لأعضاء مجلس الإدارة هو الحفاظ على المؤسسة واعتماد مجموعة من المبادئ لتحقيق سياسة الحوكمة الرشيدة وتوفير المناخب المناسب لإدارة جيدة ومنها: سيادة القانون والالتزام بالقوانين وبالمواثيق الدولية، والمساواة والشفافية، المساءلة والشفافية، الكفاءة والفعالية، التوجه نحو التوافق، المشاركة، الاستجابة.
طاقم عمل النوى
تلتزم جمعية نوى للثقافة والفنون بمبادئ المساواة والنزاهة، حيث توفر فرص عمل متكافئة للجنسين، مع تشجيع النساء على التقدم للشواغر وعدم التمييز على أساس السن، أو الدين، أو الجنس، أو المنطقة الجغرافية أو الإعاقة، كما وتَتِّبع الجمعية سياسة وإجراءات التوظيف والتعيين في عملية تحديد واختيار الأفراد (موظفين/ات، متطوعين/ات) في الجمعية بطريقة تعزز استثمار الكفاءات والخبرات المناسبة ممن يتمتعون بالمؤهلات والمواصفات والمهارات الشخصية والمهنية الأفضل لخدمة الجمعية والمجتمع. كما وتعمل "النوى" على توفير بيئة تعليمية مستمرة تسعى إلى تطوير الكفاءة المؤسسية والقدرات التربوية والمهنية لطاقمها من خلال بناء القدرات والمهارات بطريقة غير تقليدية ترتكز على منهجيات التوجيه والتطبيق العملي وذلك طبقاً للدليل الإداري الذي تعتمده "النوى" كمرجع أساسي يضمن للجمعية الاستمرارية والنجاح في حفظ وتطوير مواردها بكفاءة وفاعلية.
